Fiber Optic (FO)
Fiber optic cable is a cable network that can transmit light. Compared with other types of cable, this cable is more expensive. However, fiber optic has a range farther than 550 meters to hundreds of kilometers, is resistant to electromagnetic interference and can transmit data at higher speeds than other cable types. Fiber optic cable does not carry electrical signals, such as other cables using copper wires. Instead, signals representing the bits are converted to a form of light.
Package Fiber Optic as follow :
FO Clear Channel
This service can be utilized by the Cellular Telephone Operator, Banking, Manufacturing, Operators, ISP, Media, and various segments, because FO Clear Channel is a network bit transparant . Some common applications that use the FO Clear Channel, among others:
- Computer disaster recovery networks
- Digital PABX networks
- High Speed Data networks connecting multiple hosts
- High speed remote printing of newspaper and magazines
- Remote access FOD CAD / CAM applications
- LAN / WAN interconnection
- High Speed Internet Access
- Videoconferencing and video networking
Features FO Clear Channel :
- Availability FO Clear Channel.
Free use for 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, with 99.90% availability guarantee.
- Monitoring Network.
Monitoring and maintenance of the network for 24 hours straight.
- Warranty Maintenance.
Maintenance support team are ready 7 x 24 hours a day and ensure SLA
- Flexibility in the selection of service capacity.
From start nxE1, DS3, STM-1 interfaces with a wide selection of Ethernet, V.35, G.703
- leased line service with the ability of Broadband Access.
FO Clear Channel supports broadband access services. Broadband access has the ability to provide high-capacity services from 2 Mbps to 2 Mbps nx.
Benefits:
- Have a high security, because is like point to point.
- Having a high reliability, because the backbone is like ring.
- Links are transparent (clear channel), so that it can be used for any network protocol / application (eg IP based or application chanelized nx 64 kbps).
- dedicated line point to point (rather than shared bandwidth), thus offering a personal bandwidth that can be used 24 hours continuously. data rate and access speed equal size.
- Easily integrated and easily adapted to control every aspect of the device type (if the user has a device with V35 interface, or ethernet).
Product Specifications :
- Capacity nx 2 Mbps symmetrical links (each direction).
- Interface using the standard G 703, V.35 and Ethernet.
- Able to pass communication protocols such as X.25, SDLC, X28, SNA, IP.
Devices that customers are prepared :
- Customers only need to prepare a rack space for the placement of fiber optic multiplexer device.
- CPE device that is usually needed is a router, switch etc..
- Power supply system with Uniterruptible Power Supply (UPS).
